How to apply for a grant

We would encourage you to contact the Director for an informal discussion before submitting an application for funding. Applications for over £5,000 should arrive at least 4 weeks before the Trustees’ Meeting dates listed below.

Before submitting an application form, please ensure that you can answer YES to the following questions:

• is your organisation a registered charity / pursuing charitable objectives?
• is your project based in Cumbria / North Lancashire?
• does your project address community deprivation?
• does your project have the support of other service providers in your area?
• can you send us a copy of your most recent audited/signed Accounts?

Applications for grants of less than £5,000 will be considered at Small Grants meetings every 3–4 weeks.
