How to apply for a grant

We would encourage you to contact the Director for an informal discussion before submitting an application for funding. Applications for over £4,000 should arrive at least four weeks before the Trustees' Meeting dates listed below.

Before submitting an application form, please ensure that you can answer YES to the following questions:

• is your organisation a registered charity / pursuing charitable objectives?
• is your project based in Cumbria / North Lancashire?
• does your project address community deprivation?
• is your project meeting the needs of children / young people?
• can you send us a copy of your most recent audited/signed Accounts?

Forthcoming Trustees’ Meetings

Applications for over £4,000 should arrive at least 4 weeks before the Trustees' Meeting dates listed below:

• 18th March 2011
• 24th June 2011
• 18th November 2011

Applications for grants of less than £4,000 will be considered at Small Grants meetings every 3-4 weeks.
